Since September of 2013, Steven Lash has been the Managing Director of Strategic Healthcare Advisory Services. He has been a “C” level consultant advising various clients in the healthcare space. A sampling of his recent assignments including advising on the development, funding and startup of an international Stem Cell Therapy Company, MACRA legislation and preparing for the movement to Value Based payments, a Digital Health technology company and a Senior Chronic Care solutions organization.
His major assignments included development of Strategic Business plans, revamp corporate messaging, sales collaterals, go to market strategy, implemented a CRM, Medicare reimbursement and payment initiatives, negotiating and executing major business transactions and overall directional planning for long term growth through identification and strategy development of sales channels, and verticals.
Mr. Steven Lash spent over 19 years with Sharp Healthcare, San Diego’s leading and largest vertically integrated healthcare delivery system. His last position at Sharp was Executive Vice President for Institutional Care and was responsible for all acute care hospital operations (6 facilities) skilled nursing facilities (3 locations) and the Sharp Health Plan, a federally qualified and licensed Health Management Organization.
Prior to assuming his operational role he was the senior vice president for business affairs and chief financial officer. In this position he was responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, all merger and acquisition activity, information systems and capital formation. He led over $1 Billion of financing and acquisition transactions.
He received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and his MBA from the University of San Diego.
